'Madame Falcot' rose Description

Bloom:
Deep yellow, darker center, ages to light yellow. Mild fragrance. Average diameter 3". Medium to large, very double, borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, globular bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns, well-branched. Glossy, reddish-purple foliage. 5 to 7 leaflets.
Height: 5' (150cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Said to be similar to 'Safrano', but more double. 'Mme Falcot' in Europe and USA is not the original rose. Arena Roses 1999 Catalog presented a list of roses hybridized by the Guillot Family. This is one of the roses that is on that list.
