The photos by jedmar are interesting, because the petals are really wide. I am guessing this is the authentic 'Aroma', given that the buds have hybrid perpetual characteristics left over from breeding HP, reblooming OGRs, Chinas, and Tea roses.

Wide petals was a pretty uncommon trait then. I can think of a few others, like Peace and Margaret McGredy. But very few.
