Suntan (H.T.) has large many-petalled flowers of orange-yellow, paling with age, borne upon exceptionally vigorous, erect plants, with deep bronze-green foliage, and a protracted period of flowering. Hansen 1939. ..Vigorous growth. Slightly fragrant....June-October. Hardy.

Dr. Whitman Cross has three which are quite nice, but not important. Daylight has 40 petals... Suntan has a few more petals and bloomed well during the August heat, holding a good yellow colour. The form is not so good, and, while there is a tragrance, it is rather unpleasant.
