Bred by Ludwig Weigand (Germany, 1932).
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Pink, apricot shading.  Mild fragrance.  Very large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Large buds.  
Habit:
Climbing.  

Height: up to 4'11" (up to 150cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 9b.  Hardy.  vigorous.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe died on March 22, 1832, in Weimar. One of my favorite Goethe quotes is: The deed is everything, the glory is naught.
