Discovered by Victor Lens (1889 - 1969) (Belgium, 1937).
Introduced in United States by Western Rose Company in 1933 as 'Red Hoover'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Red.  Salmon-red center.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
It is not clear whether These are two distinct sports, or whether Lens' Sport was actually discovered introduced earlier and introduced by Western Rose Co.
