A Trial of New Roses
British Introductions of 1920.
The General (Hybrid Tea, J. H. Pemberton).—A strong grower, but oh! the mildew! Large trusses of globular red blooms, which blue off. The only redeeming feature of the variety is the scent of the blooms, which is exceptionally sweet.
