4/10/2019- this isn't one that I love so far. I have it planted in a half barrel planter, which might be a colossal mistake considering the fact that this rose is armed to the teeth with thorns and I surely don't want to ever have to tango with them in order to root prune or perform any other kind of maintenance. The color is simply sublime though. I haven't noticed any fragrance.
4/6/2024- Still right where I left it in a pot. Plant has received no water at all, even through historic Houston drought last summer, and yet, she lives! What a survivor!
My Basye's is suckering through a huge rosemary where it only gets a few hours of morning sun. Never any disease and it scatters blooms steadily through the summer, though not prolifically. What I love best is the apricot fall foliage against the powdery blue rosemary blooms..Hopefully fall 2011 will yield some photos.
