Found this beauty in my older neighborhood. I am pretty sure the ID is correct, pink with lavender tints OGR, once blooming, vigorous, fragrant, and barely any thorns. Provo was mostly founded by Mormon Pioneers who brought roses with them from as far away as Europe, in their mind fulfilling prophecy that the desert would "blossom as a rose." It was also very popular to take cuttings from grandma's roses to grow in your own yard and people were successful with the mason jar method. Pic from June 2023, Zone 7a, Provo, Utah, USA.
