Bred by Nicolas-Joseph Prevost (fils) (France, 1826).
Introduced in Australia by F. C. Davis in 1862 as 'Adèle Prévost'.
Class:
Portland.  
Bloom:
Light pink.  Medium to large bloom form.  Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.  
Habit:
Upright.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.

Notes:
'Adèle Prévost' in commerce and in gardens (see) is not the original 'Adèle' by Prévost, which was listed by him as a blush Portland. The name change from 'Adèle' to 'Adèle Prévost' can be followed back to "The Rose Fancier's Manual" of 1838, which transformed Boitard's 'Adèle' by Prévost to 'Adèle Prévost' in translation.
