Discovered by Peter Henderson (1822-1890) (United States, 1883).
Introduced in Australia by Standard Nursery in 1887 as 'Sunset'.

Tea.  

Orange - yellow, pink shading.  Strong fragrance.  50 to 60 petals.  Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Large, long sepals, long buds.  

Upright, well-branched.  

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  

'Sunset' in commerce now is not the original rose.
The original 'Sunset' had deeply serrated foliage, similar to its parent.
