Australian bred rose by Lilia Weatherly has been named after Rod Beechey, a GP and and avid gardener from Hobart. Long elegant buds open to reveal large, pink, single blooms of 15cm in diameter. The yellow centre with prominent stamens sets them off beautifully. The size of the mature plant will vary depending on conditions, but generally tall. Illustrated page 11.
