“Bunya Mountains Noisette” or “Bunyas’ Noisette”, collected Queensland.  Buds and flower centres can be pink, fading to white. Guard petals can have a red flash on the outside. Flowers very double with good substance, solitary or as smaller blooms in clusters. Flowers in flushes but usually has some blooms. Not much scent.  It sets many hips, which can be elongated, but very few seeds. The leaves are glossy. Prickles are variable in size, and red on new growth. They are broad-based and hooked, and can be found in groups of two or more. Modest climber, arching. Healthy.
