Arizona 8b. 1st year plant from Heirloom. Seems to be heat tolerant with late afternoon shade. The iPhone couldn’t catch the almost black/purple tones seen in person

This is my FD as grown by Beales - it’s stunning so not bothered if it’s not the original. It has lank canes with some lateral tendencies - remarkably robust despite the cane diameter - blooms can be single but usually in clusters of 2-3 - good tea scent - quick to re bloom - occasionally balls in very wet weather
