Introduced in Germany by Lambert & Reiter in 1891 as 'Kaiserin Auguste Viktoria'.
Introduced in France by Louis Lévêque & Fils in 1896 as 'Grande Duchesse Olga'.
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1897 as 'Kaiserin Auguste Viktoria'.

Hybrid Tea, Tea.  

White or white blend, yellow center. Green tints in buds.  Moderate fragrance.  100 petals.  Large, very double bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  

Armed with thorns / prickles, upright.  

Height: 39" to 7' (100 to 215cm).  

USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
