Bred by Jean-Pierre Liabaud (France, 1868).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1876 as 'Marquise de Mortemarte'.

Bloom:
White, salmon-pink shading.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Said to be similar to 'Souvenir de la Malmaison' in colouring. 'Marquise de Mortemart' in gardens and commerce is mislabeled.
