Origin:
Bred by Ralph S. Moore (United States, 1962).
Introduced in Australia by Roy H. Rumsey Pty. Ltd. in 1965 as 'New Penny'.
Class:
Miniature.  
Bloom:
Coral-pink.  Flowers orange-red to coral-pink.  Strong fragrance.  20 petals.  Average diameter 1.5".  Small, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short, bushy.  Glossy, leathery foliage.  

Height: 9" to 1' (25 to 30cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden.  Shade tolerant.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Ralph Moore says Miniature Moss Roses began with New Penny.
