haha I had to look up what you meant. So you mean that its deceiving to use a name, as if it is somehow related?

I can't see Iceberg anywhere in several generations of ancestry of Golden Iceberg. Red Pierre has no connection with Pierre de Ronsard: its parents aren't even Meilland roses. Misleading advertising.
As bad as nurseries that change the name of a rose and pretend it's a new release.

My sister-in-law is an Aussie. From the Gold Coast. From her view, us Midwestern types are too implicit. From my view, her words are brassy lol. We get along well. Its fun to play the culture game :P

I agree with you. It annoys me to no end. Its hard enough as it is to educate the casual gardener.
