My 7 year old bush routinely produces huge blooms at heights of 9-12 ft here in the Pacific NW. Gets taller than wide. This spring produced clusters of 4 to 5 with blooms 6 inches across- striking. Seems to like it’s late afternoon shade.

This rose has a unique, clear, and vibrant mauve color. The bush does not like pruning and can be prone to blackspot, much like its parent Royal Highness. The consistent show form and substance of blooms however is worth the effort.

Big strong bush with strapping basal breaks; pretty good disease wise. Jury still out on form and substance.

Why do you not update Awards for roses? Very frustrating to results stopping at 2001 or similar. If one is an exhibitor, the site has limited value

The site is run by unpaid volunteers (I'm not one of them), and they rely on the community to add information.
